Nigeria is the most common destination for travellers visiting family in West Africa from the West Midlands. There’s a significant Nigerian diaspora in Birmingham and the surrounding area, and many families travel back regularly – sometimes with children who haven’t been vaccinated.
The health risks in Nigeria are serious and the list of recommended vaccines is longer than most destinations. This is one trip where getting properly prepared is not optional.
