Planning a trip abroad? Some destinations require specific vaccinations before you arrive, and others strongly recommend them. Getting vaccinated isn’t just a formality – it’s the difference between a good holiday and a medical emergency.
At HealthPoint Pharmacy, we carry 26 travel vaccines across our two locations in Colwall (Malvern Hills) and Bewdley. Our pharmacists are trained in travel health and will talk you through exactly what you need based on where you’re going, how long you’re staying, and what you’ll be doing while you’re there.
Every travel consultation is free. You only pay for the vaccines themselves.
We offer same-week appointments and can usually fit you in within a few days. If you’re leaving soon, call us directly and we’ll do what we can.

Frequently Ask Questions
Ideally, 6 to 8 weeks before you leave. Some vaccines need multiple doses spread over weeks, and your body needs time to build immunity. That said, even 2 weeks out is worth it for single-dose vaccines. If you're leaving sooner than that, call us and we'll work out what's still possible.
No. Our pharmacists can prescribe and administer travel vaccines directly under Patient Group Directions (PGDs). You don't need to see your GP first.
Yes. The consultation itself costs nothing. You only pay for the vaccines you choose to have.
Yes. We're a registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre. After your vaccination, we'll issue the International Certificate of Vaccination (the yellow card) that certain countries require for entry.
Some vaccines are safe during pregnancy and some aren't. Your pharmacist will go through this with you during the consultation and recommend what's appropriate based on your situation and destination.
Your passport (so we can check any country-specific entry requirements), any previous vaccination records you have, and your travel itinerary - dates, destinations, and what you'll be doing there.
